Kids face rambutan — “hairy fruit”!

Rambutan (“hairy fruit”) is an other-worldly-looking fruit related to the longan and grown in tropical climates. The Half Pints had not seen one before in their lives until they lifted their “Mystery Tasting” bowl to discover this fruit.

“It doesn’t even look like food!” Frederick exclaims.

Through some slick detective work, Frederick figures out what it is and builds up the courage to taste it.
