On a rare field trip into civilization, the Fresh Bites Daily team is headed to Hollywood this weekend. (After our last field trip to Kauai, we obviously have high standards for field trips… 😉 ).
The TEDx team (TEDxLAMiracleMile) has put together a TEDx event with a number of “urban sustainability” speakers, including me. My talk is on free choice of food and uses the specific example of raw milk to describe a simple change we can all make to improve the climate for free choice in this country.
It’s an argument you have probably never heard before and has broader implications than the choice of raw milk, a decidedly niched issue anyway. Anyone interested in the politics of government regulation will have some interest in the talk.
The event is Saturday, January 11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Hollywood in a fairly small venue — 125 seats makes this a cozier gathering with a good bit of energy. It should be a lot of fun. Grab a ticket here and watch for some free tickets on our Facebook page.
We’ll be the ones looking a bit like those pictures on our right side bar of our website over there, though surely we are even cuter live and in Hollywood…. 😉
The event may be streamed live. Stay tuned for an update.
