Rosemary Syrup

This is a simple rosemary syrup for you to use in all of your kitchen creations.

  • 1 quart water
  • 2 cups sugar or honey
  • 12 inch rosemary stem


  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Remove rosemary leaves from stem.
  • Pour boiling water over rosemary leaves.
  • Cover and allow to steep for at least 30 minutes (even overnight if you have the time).
  • Strain leaves from liquid, retaining liquid for your syrup.
  • Dissolve sweetener in your liquid, bringing the temperature back up to do so as necessary.
  • Store in your refrigerator for a couple of weeks.
