Apple Cider Vinegar Pickled Oranges and Onions
This is a simple and delicious for pickling oranges and onions in apple cider vinegar.
Servings: 12 people
- 2 pieces oranges, peeled and slices
- 1/2 piece red onion, peeled and thin-sliced
- 1 cup vinegar apple cider or white wine
Peel and slice the oranges
Peel and slice the red onion.
Layer red onion and orange pieces in a mason jar
Boil a small rock to weight down the oranges and onions. Place rock on top.
Cover in vinegar.
Allow to sit for at least two weeks and up to several months, swishing it daily (or as you can remember)>
